Goat’s milk soap is good for your skin because it is rich in skin-nourishing proteins, vitamins, minerals, and moisturizers. More importantly, these nutrients are easily absorbed by our skin for maximum benefit.
Aside from the fact that our soap is accessible, affordable, and luxurious, there are a number of factors that make The Soap Haven products stand out.
Typical commercial soaps and skin cleansers contain harsh chemicals including alcohols, parabens, SLS, synthetic colorings and fragrances. The Soap Haven’s Goat Milk Soaps contain natural food-grade ingredients: saponified Non-GMO oils and fresh goat’s milk. This combination leads to gentle, effective, natural cleansing.
For the different varieties such as lavender, we add only the necessary essential oils — or in the case of our honey or oatmeal soaps — pure raw honey and Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Oats.Every ingredient is good enough to eat! Compare that with your chemical body wash!
Moisturization and hydration are different. Moisturization creates a barrier to lock in moisture, and most commercial moisturizers use a petroleum-based sealant to seal moisture into your skin, and that causes blocked pores and carcinogen in petroleum-based products causes health issues.
Goat milk soap not only moisturizes, but actually hydrates as well. The goat milk and glycerin in our soap aids your skin to naturally attract moisture and retain it to achieve skin that is softer and firmer with reduced lines and wrinkles.
Goat’s milk helps in skin renewal. It contains alpha-hydroxy acids (AHA) which loosens dead skin cells, helping to remove them in order to reveal healthy, youthful skin.
All this is done without harsh bead or exfoliators that scrape your skin.
Bathing with goat’s milk is like taking multi-vitamins for your skin. With over 50 nutrients including Selenium, Vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, E, minerals, enzymes, amino acids and glycerin, your skin will thank you.The antioxidants in goat’s milk also help neutralize elements that cause wrinkles and dry skin. Woohoo!
Our skin is the body’s first and largest protective barrier from harmful exposure — its job is to block foreign substances from entering our bodies.
However, goat’s milk is made up of good fatty-acids that skin loves, and your skin permits the properties from goat’s milk to penetrate the epidermis.
What does that mean? The benefits from goat’s milk soap are enjoyed by the entire body, not just the skin!
At The Soap Haven, we use only fresh goat’s milk is from a single source. All our milk is from a family-run farm where the goats live happily, roaming free in the countryside. These healthy goats produce milk that is extremely rich in nutrients, making it superior to many commercial “goat’s milk” products that use powdered milk. Powdered milk loses much of its nutrients through the heating and drying process.
